Fireworks over the water, parades, and community fun from Swansboro to Beaufort. Here's how the holiday weekend unfolds across the Crystal Coast.
Historic Swansboro's Independence Day Celebration lights up Olde Towne Square — festivities from 6 PM, fireworks at 9. Plus the Firecracker 5K in Emerald Isle.
Parades and celebrations up and down the coast — The Point in Emerald Isle (9 AM), Morehead City's waterfront and Beaufort (11 AM), and Cannon Day at Fort Macon (10:30 AM). Fireworks over Atlantic Beach and Morehead City after dark, plus Night of Destruction at the speedway.
Emerald Isle and Beaufort send off the weekend with 9 PM fireworks — Bogue Inlet Pier and Gallants Channel — plus the Made In America market in Newport.
🎆 Most fireworks go up around 9 PM — arrive early for parking and a good spot on the sand, and bring chairs for the whole crew.
